The DNC’s deputy chairman Keith Ellison criticized his own party on Wednesday and blamed former President Barack Obama for the party’s failures in the 2016 election.
Ellison somehow forgot to blame Hillary Clinton, who may have been the most disliked candidate in the history of American politics.
“Barack Obama could have been a better party leader, and I think the fact that he wasn’t has put his legacy in jeopardy,” Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison said at an event held at the University of Minnesota on Wednesday.
Ellison originally backed Sen. Bernie Sanders during the election.
It is relieving to see the Democrats starting to see the truth when it comes to Obama and the way he ran this country.
A lot of die hard liberals often attack the right, calling them racist and insensitive when they criticize Obama, but the reality is that he was a weak president, he had no tangible foreign policy, his domestic policies made healthcare unaffordable for most Americans, and he made the United States look weak in international politics.
Love or hate President Donald Trump, the man knows how to lead and he has put the U.S. in a good position, both domestically and internationally.
