House Republicans caved in to the Democrats over the weekend after House Speaker Paul Ryan agreed to a $1 trillion spending bill that will continue to fund Planned Parenthood, the EPA, and other left-wing agencies.
In addition to the previously mentioned things, the bill will not provide funding to President Donald Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Many critics view the bill as a failure, accusing House Republicans of caving into the Democratic Party.
Congressional Republicans and Democrats have reached agreement on a huge $1 trillion-plus spending bill that would fund most government operations through September, but denies President Donald Trump money for a southern border wall and rejects his proposed cuts to popular domestic programs.
Aides to lawmakers involved in the talks disclosed the agreement Sunday night after weeks of negotiations. The measure, which is expected to be made public early Monday, would fund the day-to-day operations of virtually every federal agency through September.
House Republicans continue to prove that they are cowards. We have a majority in both the Senate and the House and a Republican president, and yet, we continue to bow down to the weakened Democratic Party.
Hopefully Trump publicly shames Ryan and the rest of Congress for proving yet again how ineffective and useless they are at their jobs.
