A recent story about CNN has gone viral after the fake news network tried to troll President Donald Trump by calling his new “100 Days” ad “fake news.”
CNN refused to play Trump’s new add, saying that the clip was nothing but fake news.
“It is absolutely shameful to see the media blocking the positive message that President Trump is trying to share with the country,” declared a statement from Michael Glassner, executive director of Trump’s re-election campaign committee. “It’s clear that CNN is trying to silence our voice and censor our free speech because it doesn’t fit their narrative.”
Glassner continued, saying that CNN “takes issue with the ad’s message calling out the mainstream media for peddling fake news and not reporting on the fact that President Trump is making America great again.”
See the ad below:
“You wouldn’t know it from watching the news,” the narrator intoned as a red “FAKE NEWS” graphic was interposed on top of the faces of several mainstream media anchors, such as CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and CBS’s Scott Pelley.
This was CNN’s original response to Trump’s ad:

Trump has frequently bashed CNN for pushing fake news stories and for constantly relying on anonymous sources to back up their claims.
