Former President Barack Obama likes to bash President Donald Trump, saying he lacks the “temperament” and “core values” to be president.
However, once upon a time, Obama said he dreamed of being like Trump.
Here is an excerpt from Obama’s soon-to-be published biography:
Americans have a “continuing normative commitment to the ideals of individual freedom and mobility . . . The depth of this commitment may be summarily dismissed as the unfounded optimism of the average American – I may not be Donald Trump now, but just you wait; if I don’t make it, my children will.”
The Gateway Pundit reports:
Obama wrote the book, which was to be titled “Transformative Politics” or “Promises of Democracy: Hopeful Critiques of American Ideology”, with classmate Rob Fisher during Obama’s time at Harvard from ’88-’91.
Two decades and some change later and Obama found himself calling out now-President Trump stating that he doesn’t feel Trump’s traits are suitable for the White House.
So if Obama loves Trump so much, why does he bash him in the media? It must be that liberal jealousy. If Obama continues to deliver speeches at $400,000 per speech, he may be able to achieve 1 percent of Trump’s wealth eventually.
