President Donald Trump delivered a touching speech to grads at Liberty University on Saturday.
In the speech, Trump told the grads that it was important to have faith in God, even during times of hardship.
“As long as I am your president, no one is ever going to stop you from practicing your faith or from preaching what is in your heart,” Trump said.
“When the founders wrote the Declaration of Independence, they invoked our creator four times, because in America we don’t worship government, we worship God. That is why our elected officials put their hands on the Bible and say, ‘So help me God,’ as they take the oath of office,” Trump said.
“As long as you remember what you have learned here at Liberty, as long as you have pride in your beliefs, courage in your convictions and faith in your God, then you will not fail,” Trump remarked. “And as long as America remains true to its values, loyal to its citizens, and devoted to its creator, then our best days are yet to come, I can promise you that.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
Trump’s speech was one of optimism and hope, but of course the liberal media didn’t really pay much attention to it; they were too busy inventing fake scandals in their hopes of toppling Trump.
While Trump may not be the most openly religious president we have ever had, it is clear that religion is important to him.
Perhaps even more important, it is clear that ensuring that all Americans are free to practice their religious beliefs is one of Trump’s top priorities.

Isn’t it nice to have a president that understands Christian values? Former President Barack Obama liked to act like a Christian, but we all saw through the lies and knew that he was a secret Muslim.
