Fox News made a huge mistake when they fired legendary anchor Bill O’Reilly.
His viewers were outraged and couldn’t believe that the network bought into the false rumors about him sexually harassing former coworkers.
Now, after weeks of rumors, O’Reilly is back and will now be appearing on Glenn Beck’s radio show once per week.
“We’re going to do that every Friday until Beck gets tired of me,” O’Reilly said on his Monday podcast. “And it’s a good outlet for me to, you know, discuss things back and forth with Beck, who’s a good friend. We don’t agree on everything, but it’s very lively.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
The two knew each other back at Fox News, and both were also dismissed from the network — Beck over advertiser pressure, O’Reilly over sexual harassment allegations.
In a video posted to Facebook in April, Beck, founder of TheBlaze news and entertainment network, said the accusations against O’Reilly strained credulity, given his past experience with the talk show host when they toured together.
“He had access (at Fox) to very beautiful women,” Beck said in a production of TheBlaze. “We never saw him utter a word that was even blue humor. He was so buttoned up when he was around us, I find these charges hard to believe.”
In a recent interview, Beck even hinted at the fact that he would like O’Reilly to work with him.
“I would like to say publicly, honestly, I would like you to work for TheBlaze,” Beck said in that interview.
“I would pay you in sandwiches like you can’t believe, but that’s a different story,” he added, seeming to refer to TheBlaze’s frequent financial difficulties.
