President Donald Trump has only been in office for a few months, but already he has made some major enemies in the world of politics.
After firing FBI Director James Comey last week, Democrats have been working overtime to try and push Trump out.
In response to the firing, sources close to Comey said he had a memo that he was willing to release to try and get back at Trump.
Rep. Trey Gowdy called Comey out on Wednesday with six simple words.
“I want to see the memo,” Gowdy said.
“Obviously, I want to talk to Director Comey to determine how contemporaneous his recording of the conversation was,” Gowdy continued.
“But also, importantly, not just what was said, but what did Director Comey hear? How did he take it?” he asked. “And with all due respect to the New York Times, that can only be done by looking at the memo and talking to Director Comey.”
Rep. Jason Chaffetz made a similar statement on Tuesday via Twitter:
.@GOPoversight is going to get the Comey memo, if it exists. I need to see it sooner rather than later. I have my subpoena pen ready.

At this point, the onus is on Comey to come forward and show the memo, if it even exists at all. More than likely, Comey will be exposed as the liar he is and Trump will be able to return to leading the country.
