A New York City public library recently tried to brainwash children into loving transgender people by hiring a drag queen to read books to them.
According to reports, Brooklyn Public Library invites drag queens once a month to read classics such as “Wheels on the Bus” and other famous stories.
These drag queens are the real deal too, with one of them being known as “Lil’ Miss Hot Mess.”
Even crazier, liberal parents were totally okay with this happening.
“I think we’re just looking for exposure to positive role models in as many forms as possible,” mother Kesa Huey said.
Librarian Kat Savage defended the library’s decision, saying that those who do not like it don’t have to attend the event.
“We just tell people, ‘If it’s not for you, you don’t have to come,’” she said.
A similar program has popped up in San Francisco.
“This project is about taking back the radically queer roots of the neighborhood,” said Juliana Delgado Lopera, a spokeswoman for an organization that sponsors the California program. “With art and literature, we’re doing a series of interventions and bringing in other queer folks into that space.”
One problem, the library is a public space and being funded by the taxpayers. So, there is a big problem if you are using public funds to push this kind of nonsense.
