A mouthy man instantly regretted his decision to challenge a judge on Thursday after he egged the judge on and encouraged him to increase his bail.
According to reports, Cheatham County Judge Phillip Maxey set Charles Nichols bond at $50,000. Immediately after, Nichols told the judge to go “f*ck himself” and gave the judge the middle finger.
Maxey told Nichols to stop or he would raise the bail. The mouthy Nichols doubled down, encouraging the judge to raise it.
The judge responded in turn, raising his bail to $1 million. The defiant Nichols continued mouthing off, resulting in the judge raising the bail once again, this time to $10 million.
The back-and-forth continued until Nichol’s bail had reached $14 million.
Nichols appeared in front of Maxey “on sex charges involving a minor.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
But this creep was more than just a pervert; he was also possibly a murderer. The Tennessean reported two months ago that Nichols had been charged with murder at the time for hitting his girlfriend with an SUV.
“Police say Nichols and Hanvy were dating and were reportedly arguing throughout the evening,” the newspaper reported. “Nichols reportedly told detectives that as he tried to leave, he put his 2005 Honda CRV into reverse and Hanvy became trapped under the SUV.
“Nichols allegedly fled the scene on foot but was arrested nearby,” the report added.
Credit to Maxey for standing his ground and punishing this mouthy criminal.
