You can always rely on President Donald Trump to speak his mind, no matter what.
Trump traveled to the Muslim world over the weekend, where he spoke to various Muslim leaders about current foreign affairs.
According to reports, in one of Trump’s final speeches to the Muslim world, he ended it with, “And God bless the United States of America.”
In contrast, during a similar speech, Obama refused to mention the United States.
“The people of the world can live together in peace,” he said. “We know that is God’s vision. Now, that must be our work here on Earth. Thank you. And may God’s peace be upon you.”
Here is what Trump said:
“I ask you to join me, to join together, to work together, and to FIGHT together — BECAUSE UNITED, WE WILL NOT FAIL,” he said, according to a verbatim White House transcript. “Thank you. God Bless You. God Bless Your Countries. And God Bless the United States of America.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
Not only did Trump tout the need for the world to fight together against “the crisis of Islamist extremism and the Islamist terror groups,” which he mentioned earlier in the speech, but he specifically said, “God Bless the United States of America.”
Can you for one moment imagine Obama ever saying something so patriotic, particularly in front of dozens of Muslim leaders?
It would never happen. Even in his domestic speeches, the former president invariably displayed an easily discernible distaste for America and its people.
This isn’t to say that Obama necessarily hated America, as some have claimed. It was rather that he was never happy with it — he always felt it could be better, as in less racist, less bigoted, less this, less that. In his estimate, the United States of America was never great.
Thank you Mr. President for standing up for our country in the Middle East. This is why we voted for you.
