The American military is the strongest military in the world. Not only are our troops trained better, but they have some of the best machines backing them up.
Need proof, look no further than the USS Kitty Hawk.
In a video that was filmed in 2008, the Kitty Hawk can be seen cutting through 90 foot waves like it is nothing.
This awesome ship was first commissioned in 1961, meaning that it has been dominating the seas for 48 years.
The Kitty Hawk was eventually decommissioned in 2009 and Kitty Hawk Commanding Officer Capt. Todd Zecchin said it was “hard to capture the feeling in words.”
“This is the second aircraft carrier that I’ve decommissioned, and it doesn’t hit you immediately until you’ve lowered the commissioning pennant for the last time,” Zecchin said. “She has served her country for almost 50 years — 48 years and 13 days, across the globe … There have been a lot of sailors that have crossed her decks, a lot of airmen that have flown off and on her decks.”
God bless America. How can you not love a video like this? Watching our military might in action is a thing of beauty.
