President Donald Trump had choice words for the cowardly terrorists behind the recent bombings in Manchester, England.
Trump offered his condolences to any families that lost loved ones on Monday evening.
Not long after, he bashed the terrorists, calling them “evil losers.”
“So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life,” he said Tuesday morning while speaking in Bethlehem alongside Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as part of his nine-day overseas tour.
“I won’t call them monsters, because they would like that term,” he continued. “They would think that’s a great name. I will call them, from now on, losers, because that’s what they are — they’re losers.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
In a column for The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro explained that the word “monsters” would have empowered the vile killers — who it was later learned was just a lone wolf Muslim man — and their peers in the Islamic State group and similar terror organizations by making them sound big and powerful.
But “(i)f you have to blow up 13-year-old girls listening to teeny pop material, you’re not a powerful ‘monster,’” Shapiro noted. “You’re a worm, a feeble piece of human refuse.”
One who should be described “with contempt” and “scorned, derided, mocked, and treated as small,” he added. “They’re not martyrs, they’re not warriors, they’re not victims. They’re evil losers.”
Later in the speech, Trump made it clear that terrorists needed to be driven out of society completely.
“The terrorists and extremists and those who give them aid and comfort must be driven out from our society forever,” he said. “This wicked ideology must be obliterated, and I mean completely obliterated, and innocent life must be protected. All civilized nations must join together to protect human life and the sacred right of our citizens to live in safety and in peace.”
Trump, you are 100 percent right.
