President Donald Trump loves American soldiers and greatly appreciates the sacrifices they make to our great nation.
On Sunday, the Trump administration surprised thousands of bikers as they showed up in the nation’s capital to take part in the 30th annual “Rolling Thunder” motorcycle ride.
As the bikers lined up, none other than Secretary of State Rex Tillerson joined in and wore a leather vest in support of their cause.
Conservative Tribune reports:
Wearing a black leather vest, jeans and ball cap, Tillerson fit right in with the crowd of bikers and seemed entirely at ease as he shook hands and posed for pictures while riders gathered for the start of the event.
Tillerson was protected by Diplomatic Security Service members while at the event. Two security personnel who were assigned as his protective detail also joined in on the ride with motorcycles of their own.
According to the U.K.’s The Guardian, an estimated 900,000 riders and spectators took part in this year’s ride, despite the rainy weather.
What an amazing gesture by the Trump administration. It’s little actions like these that make the Trump administration appear more human than the Obama administration.
Former President Barack Obama loved to hide behind his security and rarely supported hardworking Americans and their charity events. Finally, that is changing under President Donald Trump.
