There is nothing more annoying than when a major brand takes a political stand.
Remember when that embarrassing Pepsi ad featuring Kendall Jenner aired? The company alienated their customers and was forced to issue an apology.
Now, Heineken has managed to alienate conservatives by calling for open borders on its bottles.

“Here’s to an Open World. To a world without borders or barriers. To the belief that there’s more that unites us than divides us. To finding common ground. So raise a bottle with the person next to you. Because a stranger is just a friend you haven’t had a cold Heineken with yet.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
This is a clear imposition of leftist beliefs, in a subtle way, on unsuspecting customers. Young Conservatives noted that Heineken actually is doing more than just the bottles — there’s a whole promotional campaign going on, including a YouTube video.
Now, Heineken is a private company, and more than within its rights to do this. In fact, as conservatives, it’s our job to back the rights of private entities to be able to say these kinds of things.
However, it’s also our job to let the money do the talking — an impact on sales might affect Heineken’s feelings about its little message on a bottle.
Why do companies feel the need to do this? It isn’t a sound business decision and it will not earn them any favors with their conservative customers.
Oh well, this is just another reason to boycott Heineken and to stick with American beers.
