President Donald Trump made a huge announcement on Thursday when he told the world that the United States would be pulling out of the Paris Agreements on climate change.
Ever since his campaign, Trump made it clear that he would prioritize American workers above everything else.
His decision to back out of the Paris Agreements shows that he is dedicated to creating jobs and will not let faux-climate change science stand in the way.
“The United States will withdraw from the Paris climate accord but begin negotiations to re-enter either the Paris accord or an entirely new transaction in terms that are fair to the United States and its workers. So we’re getting out,” Trump said during a Rose Garden announcement, according to the New York Post. “I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
To critics, the most concerning aspect of the U.S. participating in the Paris Agreement was the detrimental impact on U.S. competitiveness and jobs, as a prominent study found.
NERA Consulting determined that in order to meet the requirements President Obama signed us up for under the accord, it would cost the U.S. economy nearly $3 trillion over the next several decades.
To make matters worse, by 2040, our already-struggling economy was projected to lose 6.5 million industrial sector jobs, including 3.1 million manufacturing sector jobs.

Our president deserves a lot of credit for thinking about America first. Former President Barack Obama often cared about the citizens of other countries than he did about his own people. Trump is working hard to make America great again and that is a message that most Americans can certainly get behind.
