MSNBC host Thomas Roberts hit a new low this weekend when he accused President Donald Trump of trying to provoke a terrorist attack against the United States.
After three armed men killed many innocent people in London, England, Trump responded saying it was necessary to show resolve and to not give in to terrorism.
Roberts later reported on Trump’s comments and tried to accuse him of provoking a terrorist attack at home.
“The president doesn’t want us to be politically correct, right? So let’s not be PC about this. Is the president trying to provoke a domestic terrorist attack with this Twitter rant, because only to prove himself right?” Roberts asked Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed during a live MSNBC broadcast.
Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean refused to take the bait and deflected the question.
There is nothing wrong with asking tough questions, but the question that Roberts asked was completely nonsensical and had no relevance to the topic at hand.
Unlike former President Barack Obama, Trump is actually tough on terrorism and is working hard to destroy ISIS once and for all.
