National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers vindicated President Donald Trump on Wednesday during an appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Rogers was there to talk about whether Trump tried to interfere with the FBI’s investigation into his alleged ties to the Russians.
Very quickly, Rogers established that Trump didn’t do anything inappropriate.
“In the three-plus years that I have been the Director of the National Security Agency, to the best of my recollection, I have never been directed to do anything I believed to be illegal, immoral, unethical or inappropriate,” he stated in response to questions by Democrat senators concerning an uncorroborated report from The Washington Post claiming Trump once asked his top intelligence officials to intervene on his behalf.
The report was published last month and determined that without any concrete evidence that “Trump (had) made separate appeals to the director of national intelligence, Daniel Coats, and to Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, urging them to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
Rogers’ stunning testimony Wednesday completely repudiated the report and also demonstrated why nobody save for the most sapless fools trust anything claimed by either the Post or their peers, including The Atlantic and MSNBC.
Rogers “may have a bomb to drop” on the Trump administration, The Atlantic contributor Steve Clemons erroneously predicted Saturday during a panel on MSNBC, according to the far-left blog Raw Story.
Once again, we learned how wrong the Democrats and liberal media were on this one. Trump isn’t perfect, but he didn’t break any laws and he certainly didn’t do anything so severe to warrant an impeachment.

“In my time of service, which is interacting with the president of the United States or anybody in his administration, I have never been pressured,” he said, thus fully destroying any hopes the left had had that they might finally slay the president.
