Sen. Bernie Sanders is now under investigation by the FBI over his wife’s $10 million bank loan.
In a Monday interview with the Associated Press, Sanders dodged several questions about the investigation, demonstrating that he doesn’t care at all about the transparency he so frequently bashes others for “not” having.
During the interview, Sanders was asked about the investigation.
“No, that’s not what I’m talking about today,” Sanders said, according to The AP.
Conservative Tribune reports:
Later, when a Fox News reporter tried to approach the subject again, Sanders launched into a tirade saying, “I’m glad that you’re interested in the fact that the Republican leadership is proposing legislation which would throw millions of people off of health insurance and give hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to the top 1 percent.”
It seemed Sanders needed more time to come up with a response that would satisfy his “enthusiastic supporters.” On Tuesday when asked again this time by CNN, Sanders refused outright to say that he or his wife were under investigation, but offered some charged words regarding Toensing.
“I think it’s fairly pathetic that when people are involved in public life, it’s not only that they get attacked, but it’s their wives and their families that get attacked,” Sanders commented.
He then pivoted to how his wife transformed Burlington, albeit with the help of a land purchase completed with that $10 million dollar bank loan. “When she came to that college, it was failing financially and academically. When she left it, it was in better shape than it had ever been.”

Sanders likes to act all high and mighty, but he is just as corrupt as anyone else. Don’t buy into his socialist utopia, Sanders is a crook and his failure to defeat Hillary Clinton shows how bad of a candidate he really was.
