Dying Army veteran Lee Hernandez has one wish before he dies, and it involves you!
According to reports, Hernandez, 47, is currently dying in the hospital as he suffers from a condition that causes his body to suffer continuous strokes. Despite undergoing three brain surgeries, Hernandez is expected to die soon.
However, his wife, Ernestine Hernandez, says her husband has one wish, to talk to people.
“I guess no one wants to talk to me,” the ill veteran then told his wife.
“It broke my heart,” she called to the Republic. “(Hernandez’s) speech is not very well, so many people didn’t take much interest or want to talk to him.”
In response, the story has gone viral, and many people have started calling Hernandez, talking to the terminally ill veteran.

“(A) lot of people call to pray with him,” Ernestine Hernandez told the Republic. “It really uplifts him.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
Some simply text her husband, but because he’s blind, Ernestine must read the texts to him — not that she minds.
If you too would like to reach out to Hernandez, please call or text him at 210-632-6778 some time between 2 and 6 p.m., Arizona time (that’s Mountain Standard Time, because Arizona does not adhere to daylight saving time.) That’s when Hernandez is reportedly alert, despite the heavy pain medication he happens to be on.
And don’t worry if you are unable to get through. Just try again later.
Please help Hernandez find peace in his dying days on Earth. Share this story on social media so others can learn about him and give him a call!
