Former President Barack Obama had no interest in honoring the many hardworking Americans that keep our country safe.
That is where President Donald Trump is different.
In a recent appearance, Trump honored America’s firefighters by climbing into the cab of a firetruck at the White House.

Conservative Tribune reports:
There was a serious purpose behind the fun photo opportunity, however. “Made in America” week is intended to demonstrate the country’s manufacturing ability, with an emphasis on boosting the economy and improving jobs.
“Trump will highlight a number of locally made products from all 50 states,” explained The Hill. “He will tour products displayed at the White House and on the South Lawn, and then will speak to the media on his administration’s support of manufacturing companies in America.”
The president seems to genuinely love being around U.S.-made heavy equipment — but then which Americans wouldn’t?

Love or hate Trump, at least he makes the time to honor our brave firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and soldiers.
Critics attacked Trump, saying that he only did this for the publicity. A former firefighter disagreed with them and said that he would have been honored to have the president sit in his firetruck.
I was Captain of Phx L-1 We would have loved to have had president Trump get on our truck I had the Governor and Mayer to watch 4th firework
