A woman from Saudi Arabia recently drew the ire of her government after she wore a sexy skirt.
According to reports, SnapChat user Model Khulood posted several videos online of her wearing a sexy skirt in Saudi Arabia.
In response, the Saudi government charged her for wearing “indecent clothing.”
Conservative Tribune reports:
Women in Saudi Arabia are expected to cover their head and wear long dark dresses called “abayas,” and many cover their whole face, leaving only their eyes out for the world to see. However, this woman decided to challenge the norm, and it has her in extremely hot water.
The videos were uploaded to YouTube and were shared all over social media. That’s when the Saudi government got involved.
According to The Telegraph, “Police in Riyadh announced on Tuesday that they had arrested the young woman on charges of wearing ‘indecent clothing’ and were questioning her, according to state television.”
Twitter users lost their minds when they learned that Khulood was in trouble for wearing a skirt.
People tagging #demand_the_trial_of_Model_Khulood are the reason why the Middle East is a wasteland of war.

Dear men! You have absolutely no right to tell a woman what to wear. Period. #khulood

Other users attacked the woman for showing off her beauty:
“These are the demands of the liberal ignorant community: a naked woman, a co-ed movie theater, and music and dance. That’s progress to them! Not health care and not education,” one tweet in opposition to the woman’s act read.
“You violated the tradition and the basic law. You are shameless. Respect your homeland. Your parents did not educate you.”
And the Middle East wonders why the rest of the world laughs at them. Stop oppressing women!
