A family from Deerfield Beach, Florida, was shocked when they heard a loud crash hit their roof early in the morning.
Curious, the Adair family went to check out the source of the noise. They couldn’t believe it when they found a bag full of sausages on their roof.
The incident took place on July 15 around 4 a.m.
“It was like thunder, and it awakened me out of a sleep,” Travis Adair said.
“We got up, found two packages of sausage on our side yard, and then we were like, ‘OK, well, we got to go on the roof and check and see if we find more of this stuff,’” Austin Adair told the news station.
Conservative Tribune reports:
It turns out that even more sausages and pork chops were found on the family’s rooftop. According to the outlet, a total of 15 pounds of meat were somehow dropped onto the family’s house, but they have no idea where it came from or why.
The meat came from Fussell Frozen Foods, according to the labeling on some of the packages, so Austin decided to contact the company and send them pictures to see if they knew anything about sausages being delivered by air to rooftops.
“I called them and the guy had no idea what I was talking about and probably thought I was crazy,” Austin Adair said.
“I thought possibly it had fallen from a plane. I thought possibly it was something to do with a drug deal or something,” Jennie Adair said.
Travis joked that it was “possibly North Korea” with “a sausage missile or something.”
