Hillary Clinton would be going to trial if it wasn’t for a certain FBI Director, Jim Comey. President Donald Trump made a statement in a television interview that Comey has been “very, very good” to her.
President Trump said that it is “not too late” to ask Comey to step down, but that he has “confidence in him.” He also said to watch for the future of the investigation, because the outcome is “going to be interesting.”
When speaking on the issue of Comey recommended to drop the prosecution over Hillary’s email server, President Trump had more than one insightful thing to say. “He saved Hillary Clinton. People don’t realize that. He saved her life.” There is no doubt that Hillary was “guilty of every charge” and that she should have been in more than just a little trouble for what she did, but she got off with barely a slap on the wrist.
Democrats and other liberals want to sweep this whole thing under a rug, but let’s not forget who is the real one getting away with a government conspiracy.
From Washington Examiner:
Pressed why he wouldn’t ask Comey to step down now, Trump told Bartiromo: “I want to give everybody a good fair chance. Director Comey was very, very good to Hillary Clinton. That I can tell you. If he weren’t, she would be going to trial.”
Trump, who has backed away from his campaign promise to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton, dismissed a question about whether he would still push for that.
“I don’t want to talk about that,” Trump said. “I want to talk about positive.”
