Juan Borja is a 13-year old boy that made a terrible decision to play a game. This game ended his life.
On Wednesday, police reported this teenage boy was shot and killed in a city park by his own revolver. Borja suggested to his friends that they all play Russian roulette. He was shot once in the chest and was rushed to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Ruining one life was not enough for this deadly game. Another 14-year old boy was taken into custody as a result of these dangerous amusements.
He is being charged with fabricating physical evidence, manslaughter, and tampering. This 14-year old shot Borja over the course of the game and then panicked, hiding the gun in a field. This weapon was later recovered by officers.
The group of friends went to the park after school on Wednesday, when Borja decided to show off by brandishing his weapon.
No one thought that a silly game would end this way.

Police in the coastal city of Freeport said in a statement Thursday that 13-year-old Juan Borja died a day earlier at a hospital after he was shot once in the chest. A 14-year-old Freeport boy was taken into custody, charged with manslaughter and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Investigators say the group was at the park after school Wednesday when Borja showed the gun to the others. He loaded a round before handing it off. After firing the round, the 14-year-old hid the gun in a field. The weapon was recovered by officers. The investigation is ongoing.
