House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has never been above publicizing her dislike for our United States President Donald Trump. She tries to undermine him at every turn.
Her newest attempt at discrediting the President is by bringing up his plans for the wall that he proposed to build between the United States and Mexico.
This wall, which obviously was something that the majority of the country thought was necessary as he was elected into office, has been an issue that other people have been dancing around for ages.
According to Pelosi, even talking about an issue that sorely needs attention is “a sign of weakness.”
Talk about turning an inch into a mile, she says that when President Trump talks about the wall, it makes it look like the United States can not control its borders. This is ridiculous to say, as we are obviously having a problem with illegals entering, and in some cases re-entering, the country.
Bringing up sensitive topics does not make you weak. In fact, it makes you the opposite. What makes someone weak is bring negative attention to the leader of your country for ridiculous reasons in an attempt to feed personal vendettas.
Pelosi said, “What is wrong with that scenario is the wall. He talks about how tall it is, who will pay for it, and all of the rest of that. You have to understand this part of the country there is a community with a border going through it. The president, I think, talking about this wall, is expressing a sign of weakness. He is saying I can’t control our borders, I have to build a wall. We would certainly like to — we have a responsibility to control our borders but building a wall is not an answer. Not here or anyplace.”
