Breaking News- A possible attack occurred in New York City after a car jumped the curb in Times Square. This act resulted in 13 people being injured as the car sped through the crowd.
The FDNY has agreed with reports that 13 people have been injured, but have not confirmed the report by Reuters that one person has been killed in the attack.
So far, the NYPD has taken an unidentified individual into custody. The motivations behind the attack have not been discovered, so they have not ruled out that the possibility that it was accidental in nature.
Governor Andrew Cuomo released a tweet saying he is en route to the scene of the accident.
Several blocks are taped off by the police, barring the area that is a popular tourist attraction.
The car was a maroon sedan which was upended on the corned of 45th street and Broadway.

A maroon sedan could be seen in multiple photos upended at the corner of 45th Street and Broadway. The FDNY received the first emergency call just before noon. Gov. Andrew Cuomo tweeted that he was en route to the scene.
