Early morning on Tuesday, police were faced with the stuff of nightmares. A clown was running around Denver stabbing civilians early on Tuesday morning.
A man was stabbed outside the parking lot of a popular taco restaurant called “Torchy’s” after being assaulted by this deadly clown.
He died later outside the restaurant. The attacker was later identified as 36-year old Christina Lee Gulzow. The victim tried to defend himself against the death-clown but failed.
When police showed up to the scene shortly afterwards, they found this man, aged 29, unresponsive in the parking lot. He was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center, but he did not survive the attack.
He was described as having “black streaks on his face” and “a glove with blades at the end of each finger.”
The blades used was estimated by witnesses at the scene to be 2 to 3 inches long. They saw the clown – wearing makeup and gloves- approach the victim and threaten him, before ultimately stabbing him to death.
The victim walked away north up the alley when Gulzow followed and continued yelling at him Witnesses said they heard arguing but did not see what happened to the victim.
The victim was later seen with Gulzow in the Torchy’s parking lot when Gulzow left southbound on a scooter. The victim then collapsed.
Police later found a knife in the bushes covered with the suspect’s blood. Gulzow was later found covered in blood.
Gulzow was taken into custody and said he and the victim got into an argument, and that the victim threatened him by saying “to get out of my alley.”
Gulzow said the victim was the one who attacked him and took his scooter, police said. Gulzow said he tackled the victim to get his scooter back. Gulzow is being held for investigation of first-degree murder.
