In Paterson, New Jersey, one person was declared dead and five people were injured in an illegal night club on Sunday. This illegal after-hours night club was victimized by a shooting and a possible robbery.
The club, which remains unidentified, is located on 86 Main Street. Gunshots were reported at around 5:30 am, according to a report by Patterson police.
When the officers responded to the scene, they were met with gunshot victims littering the parking lot of the establishment.
Once they entered the club, they only encountered more of the same scene. Four victims were transported to the hospital while two others drove in on their own.
Luckily, out of everyone who was shot that night, there was only one fatality.
The person’s family has not yet been notified of the death, so the identity of the lone deceased victims has yet to be released. An investigation is still ongoing for the shooters who remain at large.
