On Tuesday, Kim Jong Un warned the United States that he plans on sending a bigger “gift package” after they successfully launched their third missile test recently.
Pyongyang has reported that, under the leadership of their rogue dictator, they would continue to develop their missile program in case there would be a possible attack.
He is hoping to be able to send a bigger ‘gift pacakge’ to the ‘Yankees.’
The United States military is now planning on testing for the first time ever an interceptor missile on Tuesday. This interceptor missile should be able to shoot down an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
This is the first time in United States history that it has been necessary for a ground-based interceptor to be necessary against an “intercontinental class target.”
This test is specifically to prepare the United States against a possible attack by North Korea. Conflict with North Korea would be “possibly the wort kind of fighting in most people’s lifetime,” according to Defense Secretary James Mattis on Sunday.
U.S. President Donald Trump joined leaders of South Korea and Japan on Monday to condemn North Korea. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe vowed to take action with the U.S. to “deter North Korea.” On Twitter, Trump said North Korea showed “great disrespect” for China in its latest launch. North Korea launched a short-range Scud ballistic missile from the eastern coastal town of Wonsan late Sunday. The missile flew for six minutes until it landed in the Sea of Japan, a statement from U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii said. Kim has vowed to develop a nuclear-armed missile with the capability of reaching U.S. soil. Though it’s believed that the communist nation is still several years away from that goal, the continued tests, despite pressure and threats from global powers to halt them, shows its determination to develop that capability.
