Former President Barack Obama seems to have forgotten that his term is over.
He is not only publicly speaking out against decisions that the current President has made (regarding his decision on the Paris Climate Deal), he is now taking meetings with leaders of other countries.
FPOTUS took a meeting with Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, shortly after a speaking engagement in Montreal. The dinner took place at the Liverpool house.
People in social media agree that Obama and Trudeau discussed Donald Trump during their dinner – and might possibly have been trolling him as well.
This is not a good thing, and even liberals should be outraged by this. A former President should show some decorum and definitely not talk about the current President in a negative light to other countries.
Former President Obama went on say over the course of his visit, “We’re going to have to replace fear with hope. That’s the spirit that we need right now.”
Following a speaking engagement in Montreal, former President Obama took the opportunity to reunite with a friend: Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.
According to Newsweek, the two had dinner together at Liverpool House. Trudeau shared a photo of the pair on Twitter: “How do we get young leaders to take action in their communities,” Trudeau wrote. “Thanks Barack Obama for your visit and insights tonight in my hometown.” The Obama Foundation also shared the photo and also mentioned their conversation: “Tonight in Montreal, Barack Obama and Justin Trudeau discussed their shared commitment to developing the next generation of leaders,” the foundation wrote.
Obama spoke at the Montreal Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, where he criticized current President Trump for pulling out of the Paris climate deal.
