Attorney General Jeff Sessions has drawn the ire of Hawaiians according to The Washington Post.
It seems that the Attorney General referred to Hawaii as an island in the Pacific, which it is, when he was expressing his amazement that a federal judge in Hawaii could block the President’s travel ban.
Hey Jeff Sessions, this #IslandinthePacific has been the 50th state for going on 58 years. And we won’t succumb to your dog whistle politics

Here’s what Sessions told radio show host Mark Levin:
I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the president of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and constitutional power.
— AG Jeff Sessions
For his part, AG Sessions saw the uproar as much ado about nothing and commented, “no one has a sense of humor anymore.”
