Earlier this week a man in southern Oregon was arrested on charges that he sexually abused a chicken.
Joshua Woltmon, 27, of Medford, Oregon was jailed on charges of sexual assault of an animal, public indecency, menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $25,000.
A Medford police spokesman said the department had no further details on the alleged assault on the chicken.
Oregon Live described the scene.
Woltmon exposed himself and came into contact with the chicken’s genitals, prosecutors allege in court documents. He is also accused of threatening another man with sharp sticks in the same incident. According to court documents, Woltmon “unlawfully and for the purpose of arousing and gratifying the sexual desire of a person [touched or contacted] the sex organs of a chicken.”
Mr. Woltmon is reported to be suffering from a bipolar disorder and functions at the level of a seven-year-old.
