Julian Assange had some good news this week after Sweden announced it was dropping its investigation into rape and molestation charges that have pending against him for more than seven years.
The WikiLeaks founder has been living in the Ecuadorean embassy in London for the past five years to avoid extradition.
Lady Gaga and Pamela Anderson were both pleased with the outcome, although perhaps for different reasons.
The Telegraph reports Ms. Anderson as saying that she believes Assange is “the most intelligent, interesting and informed man in existence. Yes – I think he’s quite sexy.” High praise indeed coming from a woman of Pam’s intellect.
Along with visits from Pamela Anderson, Assange has also enjoyed visits from Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga released a video interview in which she said, “You may be an enemy of the state, but you are not an enemy of humanity.”
It is unclear if Assange will feel safe in leaving the Ecuadorean embassy as several other countries, including the U.S. would like Mr. Assange extradited.
