Photos of a half-naked woman shopping at an IKEA store in Beijing have gone viral. The photos first appeared on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter.
Weibo users were able to identify the location of the photos as the Beijing IKEA based on the signs in the store and the yellow shopping bags. The company has denied allegations that the photos was a publicity stunt to draw attention to the store.
The photos were removed after Beijing police demanded the user take the post down.
If it’s a publicity stunt, we can’t figure out what a bare butt has to do with IKEA!
