In the latest London attack in Finsbury Park, Metropolitan Police have confirmed that one person has died. While not much is known at present, one witness claimed the suspect shouted, “I’m going to kill all Muslims, I’m going to kill all Muslims” before plowing into pedestrians.
This would fit with the fact that the attacker, Darren Osborne of Cardiff, was aiming for the locals near a mosque in Finsbury Park.
Abdulrahman Saleh Alamoudi, who was at the mosque at the time, said, “I think at least eight or 10 people got injured. Luckily I managed to escape.”
He added, “He was screaming, he was saying, ‘I’m going to kill all Muslims, I’m going to kill all Muslims’. He was throwing punches.”
Thankfully the men at the mosque managed to get Osborne on the ground before the police arrived.
There are many conflicting reports on the event. Was there more than one attacker? Was this revenge for other London attacks? Only time will tell.
Police have confirmed that nine people were taken to hospital and two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Chicks on the Right reports:
We still don’t know much about the latest London terror attack– the attack that appeared to target Muslims leaving the Finsbury Park mosque. According to one witness, the prime suspect shouted, “I’m going to kill all Muslims, I’m going to kill all Muslims.”
Needless to say, it sounds like this was some sort of sick revenge attack against Muslims. That’s one of the theories. The other theory– which is less popular– is that the attacker was a super radicalized Muslim who decided to attack those Muslims for not being radical.
