A 22-year-old student, Otto Warmbier, was tried, convicted and sentenced to 15 years hard labour in a North Korean Prison for removing a political propaganda poster from a wall. A little more than a year later, the Trump Administration was able to secure his release. Warmbier was in a comatose state when he was turned over to American authorities. He died days after returning home.
North Korea claimed that Warmbier’s coma was brought on by a combination of botulism and a sleeping pill not long after he was sentenced for his crime.
“China needs to get on board,” Fox News anchor Eric Bolling said, noting that most of North Korea’s food and supplies come from China.
Beijing obviously isn’t following UN sanctions placed on the Hermit Kingdom.
“If you want to play with the United States this way, we’re not going to defend you anymore,” he said.
North Korean authorities let Warmbier’s condition get progressively worse without proper treatment which led to his eventual death. Otto Warmbier was essentially sentenced to death for taking a poster off a wall!
Young Conservatives reports:
Eric Bolling said on his new Fox segment, ‘The Specialists’, that China had better “get on board” with North Korea sanctions, per Fox News Insider.
“This bothers me so much,” Bolling said on-air in reference to the death of University of Virginia student Otto Warmbier who was held captive in North Korea for 18 months.
Warmbier died in his home state of Ohio on Monday.
