The Democratic Party along with the liberal mainstream media did their best to portray the Congressional election in Georgia’s sixth district as a referendum against Donald Trump. The Dems pitted their dream candidate, Jon Ossoff, against Republican Karen Handel. Ossoff was young, rich, and good-looking. He had the weight of the Democratic Party behind him and millions of dollars was spent on getting him elected.
It wasn’t even close! Handel won the election putting to rest the Democrats’ referendum narrative.
MSNBC’s Joy Reid, the liberal host of “AM Joy,” tried to dismiss Ossoff’s loss by falsely tweeting that Trump won the district by 20 points last November.
It's GEORGIA. A Republican district in Georgia that Trump won by 20+ points. Let's hang on to some perspective, folks. https://t.co/zeis02pRPj

The next day, Reid posted a correction:
Even PolitiFact called Reid out for her error:

If the GA sixth was a referendum on Donld Trump, as Democrats claimed, it appears as though the President has picked up support in the sixth.
PolitiFact attacking Joy Ann Reid. You must hate women.

Liberals are calling the election loss a moral victory!
Biz Pac Review reports:
The Democratic Party and their media allies worked hard to paint Tuesday’s special election in Georgia’s sixth congressional district as a referendum on President Donald Trump.
…up until the moment Republican Karen Handel defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff.
The “referendum” narrative died a quick death following Ossoff’s defeat, with the left opting to make excuses and downplay the outcome, facts be damned.
