CNN enjoyed being at the top of the food chain during the Obama Administration. Lately, however, they’ve been relegated to the cheap seats at the back of the room due to their biased reporting and fake news. President Trump has called them out on several occasions and White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has confronted CNN correspondent Jim Acosta over his rude behavior.
During Monday’s White House press briefing, Acosta interrupted Spicer and spoke over other journalists even after he was asked to stop.
Spicer had called on a reporter, who raised her hand, and Acosta interrupted asking if President Trump believes the health care bill in the Senate is “mean.” Spicer replied, “There’s no camera on Jim.” Acosta then asked repeatedly, “Why don’t you turn the cameras on?”
Spicer had made the decision not to have the cameras on during the press briefing in an effort to prevent press corps divas like Acosta from grandstanding. Believe it or not, there are some reporters who want to be in a viral YouTube video or trending on Twitter.
After the press briefing was over, Acosta did a stand-up report from the White House complaining that CNN had been blackballed.
It’s no wonder we can’t take CNN seriously anymore!
Young Conservatives reports:
CNN’s Jim Acosta has quickly become the nation’s most disliked White House correspondent—not only because he works for CNN, but also just because he’s Jim Acosta, and he’s kind of obnoxious.
Acosta reportedly interrupted Sean Spicer continuously during Monday’s press briefing, as he often does.
The Daily Caller says Acosta interjected and spoke over other journalists repeatedly after Spicer asked him to stop.
