Did high-ranking FBI Agents have a personal vendetta against Michael Flynn? Maybe tying him to allegations of Russian collusion was an attempt by the FBI to destroy him.
A recent report has shed some unexpected light on allegations that the former National Security Advisor had improper contacts with the Kremlin.
According to the report, Flynn intervened on behalf of a counterterrorism agent two years ago, who had accused several high-ranking FBI officials of sex discrimination. If the report is accurate, the FBI may have been out for revenge!
Flynn chose to intervene on behalf of Supervisory Special Agent Robyn Gritz. He wrote a letter of support in 2014 on his official Pentagon stationary, gave a public interview in support of Gritz, and offered to testify on her behalf. His offer put him as a hostile witness in a case against rising FBI agent Andrew McCabe.
McCabe is now the current Acting FBI Director.
FBI agents expressed their concerns when a highly-classified piece of evidence, the now infamous conversation between Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, was suddenly leaked to the news media and led to Flynn’s resignation as Trump’s top security adviser.
Note: No evidence was found to link Flynn to any form of Russian collusion. In fact, the reason Flynn resigned his position was because he misled the Vice President about the contents of his conversation with the Russian.
“The Flynn leaks were nothing short of political,” an FBI employee said, noting that the specific contents of the conversation were known by only a handful of government officials when they were leaked. “The leaks appeared to be targeted to take Flynn out.”

Circa News has a new report out tonight shedding significant — but perhaps not too surprising — light on the FBI’s probe of former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s supposedly-improper contacts with the Russian government.
It turns out that two years ago, Flynn had intervened on behalf of a counterterrorism agent who had accused multiple prominent FBI officials of sex discrimination — and, if this latest report is correct, the FBI wanted revenge.
