Megyn Kelly was a ratings queen at Fox News. That’s why NBC made her a multi-million dollar offer. After making the move to NBC News, Kelly has garnered ratings below what was expected. And now she’s making a surprise announcement.
Kelly took to Twitter page to announce to whatever fans she has left, that she would be taking a brief vacation. It could be possible that she is really going on a vacation, but it’s also possible, as some folks have suggested, that NBC is planning on terminating her employment.
Kelly’s programs have only managed to draw about three million viewers. Even her much hyped interview with Infowars’ Alex Jones only brought in about 3.6 million viewers.
Jones suspected that Kelly was setting him up for a “hit job” interview. Jones pre-empted the broadcast of his interview with Kelly by releasing an audio recording of the complete telephone conversation he had with Kelly before agreeing to the interview.
The silver-tongued Kelly promised that her interview would not be a “gotcha hit piece.” Kelly similarly told Jones that she would not bring up his thoughts about the Sandy Hook massacre of 2012.
The final piece that was aired by NBC was the opposite of what Kelly had promised.
Infowars got ahead of bad publicity by exposing Kelly as a liar and a manipulator who used clever editing techniques to make Jones appear like a raving lunatic.
Infowars followed up this scoop by publishing investigative information that directly contradicted one of the more sensational accusations made during Kelly’s “gotcha hit piece” on Jones.
Kelly’s fiasco with Jones, combined with her embarrassing back-and-forth exchanges with Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential campaign, have only put to rest any notion of her as a rising star in investigative journalism.
Her ever-dwindling ratings are just the icing on the cake that proves the American public no longer trusts her.
FOX News has not indicated that they want her back if NBC gets rid of her.
Angry Patriot reports:
Megyn Kelly has been a complete bust since making the jump from FOX News to NBC. The former darling of America’s most mainstream conservative network lied about Roger Ailes and went after Donald Trump. Now, thanks to low ratings, Kelly may be getting the boot very soon.
