Other American Presidents have tried to get North Korea to tow the line when it comes to developing nuclear weapons, and failed. Will history record President Trump as the one who finally succeeded in denuclearizing the Hermit Kingdom?
The President has made advances in some areas concerning North Korea. He’s gotten the Chinese on board, but whether Kim Jong-Un listens to Beijing or not, is another thing.
Trump has also been talking tough, which is really the only thing Kim Jong-Un understands.
Today, Trump had some strong words for the chubby-cheeked Kim.
In a joint presser with South Korean President Moon Jae-In, President Trump announced that North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missiles program required a “determined response”. The President noted that the era of “strategic patience” with Kim Jong-Un’s regime has ended.
“Frankly, that patience is over,” Trump said in the White House Rose Garden.
The chubby dictator of North Korea has threatened the United States and our allies in North East Asia with nuclear destruction. North Korean missile technology is advancing quicker than we thought. They will soon have a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to targets in the United States.
Let’s hope the President can convince Kim to abandon his nuclear dreams.
Young Conservatives reports:
Dealing with North Korea is something that has been a challenge for every president that’s been asked to deal with it.
Clinton did a terrible job.
Obama did a terrible job.
And now, Trump has an opportunity to finally be the guy who figures it out.
