Lawmakers in Arizona are discussing a bill that will give the state permission to seize the assets of rioters. The new law aims at compensation for the destruction of property.
SB 1142 proposes to amend Arizona’s current Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) laws by adding “riot” to the list of offenses.
The bill was introduced after Leftists rioted in Berkley, CA and Washington, DC destroying property and looting of establishments in the business district.
During the riots, Leftists carried signs that read, “Love Trump’s Hate,” as they set fire to buildings, trash cans, and vehicles. Several police officers were also injured as bandanna and ski-mask wearing rioters hurled objects at them.
