President Trump has had to battle Democrats, Republicans, and the mainstream media ever since he announced his candidacy. Former Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly worte an opinion piece about the mainstream media’s ongoing feud with the President.
In his article, titled “How Trump will win his war against the media”, O’Reilly shared his views on the current state of the press and the media’s continuous criticism of President Trump. O’Reilly also had some personal advice for the President.
O’Reilly pointed out that he is not at all surprised by the way the President responds to the media’s criticism. In his op-ed, O’Reilly defended Trump.
“Tweet facts, Mr. President, not insults,” O’Reilly suggested. “Hammer your opposition with verifiable statements. Do that, and you may ultimately prevail against a press that often abuses its freedom — a media where seeking the truth is becoming obsolete.”
Young Conservatives reports:
Bill O’Reilly hasn’t seemed very interested in returning to a different cable news network since his controversial and uncomfortable departure from Fox News.
He has made some appearance online and has been active on his website however and his fans still have the ability to find out his take on current events in the political arena.
Over the last week or so (who am I kidding, since the moment he declared his candidacy) the media has been fixated on Trump’s tweets and the media has been very upset about how the president has characterized their coverage.
