Anti-Trump protesters thought they wouldn’t be charged for rioting in protest over President Trump’s inauguration. After all, they were Hillary Clinton supporters!
Doesn’t love trump hate?
When they go low, we go …
And then reality clicked in!
Dane Powell, who originally faced 14 charges, pleaded guilty to felony rioting and felony assault on a police officer. He told the court that he broke windows and threw a “brick, large rock, or piece of concrete” at a uniformed police officer during the President’s inaugural ceremonies in DC.
Activists showed up at Powell’s sentencing in an attempt to portray him as a hero. Prior to his sentencing, they were circulating a video of Powell carrying a child to “safety”, out of the line of law enforcement pepper spray.
First, who brings an innocent child to a riot?
Second, if those rioting thugs hadn’t gotten out of hand, there wouldn’t have been a need for pepper spray!
Rioters thought that if they all dressed in black and tried to disguise their appearance with a mask or sunglasses, they would get away with it.
Young Conservatives reports:
Chickens have finally come home to roost.
The first protestor (read: rioter) from Trump’s inauguration has been sentenced to four months in jail.
Dane Powell will serve four months followed by two months of probation after being convicted of a felony rioting charge and assaulting a police officer during the President’s inaugural ceremonies in Washington.
