CNN threatened to ‘dox’ the name of the Reddit user who created the now infamous Trump/CNN wrestling take-down video. The Cable News Network demanded an apology, removal of the offending video from the Internet, and a promise to never do it again. If CNN’s demands weren’t met, they were going to release the name of the individual who created the video.
It looks like Americans don’t like it when a big company like CNN tries to bully a little guy!
According to reports, some CNN anchors and reporters have found themselves targeted by Internet users who are doing to them what they threatened to do to the original author of the Trump/CNN wrestling GIF.
It’s been reported that personal information, such as home addresses and phone numbers, has been posted on the Internet. Some CNN staffers have even reported receiving threats of violence.
The whole thing is leaving them rather ‘frustrated‘.
An unnamed CNN insider reportedly said, “Frustrated that CNN staffers’ private information is being published in ‘retaliation’ — when the network made the decision to not out the Reddit user. Frustrated by the speed in which misinformation, lies and hate spreads. Frustrated that POTUS’s son has no accountability.”
Followed by “Waaah. Waaah. Waaah!”
CNN, like Hillary Clinton, has no one to blame but themselves.
Maybe CNN should issue an apology, take themselves off the air, and promise to never do it again!
Conservative Tribune reports:
When CNN essentially blackmailed and threatened to “dox,” or publicly expose, the individual believed to be responsible for creating a silly GIF aimed at the network that was subsequently tweeted by President Donald Trump, they opened themselves up to a world of hurt they simply weren’t prepared for and are now whining about.
