We used to think that it was none of our business what two consenting adults did in the privacy of their own homes. But now technology has advanced into a realm that defies dignity and self-respect. Science has taken sex dolls to a whole new level. They’ve graduated from simply being dolls, to being robots.
Advancements continue on the development of sex robots. Experts believe that it won’t be long before latex is replaced by a more human-like material that actually feels like real skin.
Not only that, but these new sex robots will be able to respond to touch and engage in explicitly graphic conversations.
Brothels around the globe have been making sex robots available. Offering their patrons an experience where men can live out their “wildest fantasies” with robots who can’t say no.
Religious groups and scientists who specialize in robotics have come out against sex robots. The Foundation for Responsible Robotics recently released a report warning that the use of sex robots could lead to an increase in sex crimes against women.
“On the one hand, if a sex robot is designed to resist sexual advances such that their use constitutes a simulated act of rape, then building them puts the user in relationship with the act of raping a woman,” the report read. “It exhorts and endorses rape. On the other hand, building a robot that is passive or elicits sex is ethically problematic for what it communicates to the broader public about women’s sexuality.”
There may even be a market for sex robots that resemble children. Some experts suggest that they might be used to treat pedophiles, while others think it may encourage them.
It’s a slippery slope.
Right Wing News reports:
Sex robots have evidently become more popular in brothels across the world, especially as they become more and more realistic. There are a lot of men who love them, but some are not as thrilled — some scientists and ethicists are saying that sex robots are dangerous.
Technology has enabled sex robots to appear more human than ever before. It’s believed that by the end of the year, there will be sex robots on the market with human-like skin, who are responsive to touch, and are able to “talk dirty” to users.
