A Macon, Georgia woman was alerted by the sound of her front door being kicked in. When she went to investigate, she saw two thugs trying to carry her big screen TV out the door. When the woman screamed, one of the thugs, who was armed with a handgun, reached over his shoulder and fired a shot at her.
The shooter’s aim was a bit off. He managed to shoot his partner-in-crime in the head, killing him instantly.
Police found 41-year-old James Robert Young dead at the scene, but his partner, and murderer, escaped.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has called the shooting an accident.
“When she yelled, the men ran out,” Sheriff Davis said. “As they went out the door, one of the suspects turned around and fired one shot backward and struck the other suspect in the head.”
The shooter is still at large. However, once word gets out, he’ll have a difficult time finding another partner!
