Leftist feminists found out that the House of Representatives has a dress code that prohibits women from wearing sleeveless dresses in the Speaker’s Lobby. The dress code also requires men to wear jackets and ties so it’s not a matter of the Speaker of the House doing something sexist. Feminists, however, went ballistic on Speaker of the House Ryan over the dress code even though the it’s been in place for several decades.
That means the same code was in effect when Nancy Pelosi was the Speaker.
Paul Ryan listened to the complaints and announced they are taking steps to “modernize” the dress code.
Then the liberal butthurt made itself known on social media:
Glad to see @SpeakerRyan is updating the dress code for the House Floor. These unwritten rules are in desperate need of updates.

But they were OK just six years ago when Pelosi was the Speaker!
Patriotic Americans responded to Ms. Pelosi:
Check your LinkedIn for your last job. https://t.co/KhYhbc5Ft0

Says the former Speaker of the House who obviously didn't give a sht about this but now that it is a political hammer, swing away. 🖕

And the icing on the cake:
If only you had been in a position to do something about it yourself…

Chicks on the Right reports:
I’d heard about this, but there was a lot of other weird crap going on and, frankly, I didn’t really care.
But some background – apparently, feminists found out that the House of Representatives has a dress code that says women cannot wear sleeveless dresses in the Speaker’s Lobby (to be fair, the code also says that men have to wear jackets and ties). As they tend to do, feminists went ballistic on Speaker Paul Ryan about it, even though the code has been in place for several decades.
