Sure, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, has already registered a campaign name for 2020. The Rock is going after the Democratic nominee for the Presidency. It’ll be interesting to see how for he goes. After all, he’s popular, he has a winning smile, and he has mastered the people’s eyebrow!
Another entertainer is planning to enter the political arena. Singer/songwriter Kid Rock hinted at challenging Senator Debbie Stabenow, D-MI, for Michigan’s 8th District. Stabenow has had the seat since 1997 and Rock figures it’s time for her to move on!
The recent launch of Rock’s website, www.kidrockforsenate.com, led some to believe he was serious about running. Conversely, it had others thinking it was only a publicity stunt since the website had links to Kid Rock’s online merchandise store.

Rock did have some kind words for his opponent:
“Senator Stabenow and I do share a love of music, although probably not the same kind,” he said. “I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullsh*t!”
Right Wing News reports:
And on today’s episode of “Which Celebrity Is Going To Become A Politician Next,” we have singer/songwriter Kid Rock.
On Wednesday, Rock hinted at a potential Senate race in which he would challenge incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow with the launch of the website www.kidrockforsenate.com. Some believed it was a PR stunt because the only links on the site went to his online merch store run by Warner Bros. Records.
