Remember when Ariana Grande hated Americans? The pony-tailed brat made it a point to record herself on video licking donuts and then putting them back on the rack for sale. While she was licking the tasty pastry she said, “I hate Americans” and “I hate America“.
Naturally, that was before the massacre that followed her Manchester, England, concert.
We wonder how she feels about Muslims?
Grande claimed that her comments were taken out of context. She was simply “upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.” Wow! That’s a mouthful!
Then she tried to make her case by tying her donut-licking-America-hating video to child obesity rates.
But we’re not buying it. Most of us think she’s just a spoiled little brat who is totally out of touch with reality.
Actor Rob Lowe called her apology “#Lame”.
And now for some career advice from the great Rob Lowe:
Dixie Chicks were also notably anti-American!
Thanks Mr. Lowe.
Allen B. West reports:
So here’s a little trip down memory lane…Remember before the tragic terror attack at her Manchester concert, when Ariana Grande wasn’t all about “love” and “unity?” Yeah we do too.
We know not to expect much enlightenment off-screen from Hollywood types who insert their political views into the national debate. And that conservative, America-loving actors are an endangered species — or at the very least, in hiding for their own career preservation.
That’s why we especially love Rob Lowe’s awesome response to entitled, bratty pop “star” Ariana Grande’s faux apology for her America-hating comments.
